In solidarity with Ukraine and its people undergoing Russian military aggression, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is suspending the issuance of visas to Russian and Belarusian citizens.

There are two types of visas: Schengen visa (allows entering Lithuania and staying in it for a period not exceeding 90 days in 180 days or travelling on transit through Lithuania or other Schengen states) and national visa (allows entering Lithuania and staying in the country for a period of time specified in the visa (up to twelve months).

Diplomatic missions or consular posts of the Republic of Lithuania issue visas to foreigners who intend to travel to Lithuania.
