Arrival

❗ FROM 1st MAY 2022: Travellers arriving in Lithuania from any country in the world will no longer be subject to any COVID-19 management requirements:

  • you will no longer need to take the COVID-19 test before the trip, even if you are not vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19;
  • you will not need to fill in the questionnaire;
  • foreigners are not prohibited from entering.

In solidarity with Ukraine and its people undergoing Russian military aggression, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is suspending the issuance of visas to Russian and Belarusian citizens.

There are two types of visas: Schengen visa (allows entering Lithuania and staying in it a period not exceeding 3 months in half a year or traveling on transit through Lithuania or other Schengen states) and national visa (allows entering Lithuania and staying in the country for a period of time specified in the visa (up to twelve months).

Diplomatic missions or consular posts of the Republic of Lithuania issue visas to foreigners who intend to travel to Lithuania.
