Polina Tikunova

Three years ago Polina Tikunova moved to Lithuania from Estonia. She claims that in order to successfully integrate into Lithuanian society, one has to speak Lithuanian. „Lithuanians are very friendly people when you are friendly with them. When they hear that you speak Lithuanian, that you respect and want to know their culture, they accept you as one of their own", - says the artist that learnt Lithuanian in about a year (she speaks six languages in total). Polina found a job before coming to Lithuania and did not have the to take a longer break since. "If you are active, creative and want to learn, there are a lot of opportunities here - you just have to capitalize on them."
